Hot cars in the latest movie fast five

So my next article could lean more towards the interest of the male sex but there should be a few lady also finding it very interesting.

So im writing today because last night I saw the Fast Five movie again but this time in HD now everything is better in HD so it was awesome all over again but not focusing on the other attractions in the movie like Gal Gadot playing the role of Gisele Harabo but more to the cars in the movie witch has always been one of the main attraction to the fast and furious movies.I made a list of all the hot cars that make appearance in the movie .

The first on my list is the 1963 Ford Galaxy now this is a classic American muscle

Certainly a iconic car from the sixties 

Next will be the 1966 Ford GT40 the is one of the main cars in the movies as this car is not only a beauty and a classic but contains the a chip that contains all the info of the  antagonist drug routes and money ens so we get to see this car alot in the first part of the movie .

Next on the list will be the 1966 Corvette Grand Sport a car the caught every ones eye in the train scene where Dominic (Vin Diesel) drives it out of the moving train and then rescues Brain (Paul Walker) and goes on to jump it off a cliff into the river below.

One of the cars that became iconic with the fast and the furious movies must be the 1970 Dodge Charger from its appearance in the first movies with the the legendary drag at the end of the first movie against brains Toyota Supra ending in most men in tears seeing Vin ramming and flipping the car but none the less the car made another appearance but not a flashy as the first one with that huge super charger sticking out the bonet but still a awesome car

Also adding to the muscle car feel of the movie is the 1970 Ford Maverick

In the movie not shown as one of the nicest cars but still a very nice car must be the 1972 Nissan Skyline

One of the unknown cars in the most and was most likely mistaken for another GT40 was the  1972 Pantera Detomaso

Also one of the iconic fast and the furious cars must be the 1996 Toyota Supra seen in about all the movies the orange Supra was most certainly one of the best cars to come out of the movie

Now this car seen when Domenic and Brain go looking for some extra cars to use in there job the 2002 Porsche GT3

Evening out the balance between all the muscle cars to Japanese tuners this beautiful machine was added to the roster the 2009 Nissan 370Z

Just bringing in a bit of what new american muscle is all about they added one of my favourite cars to the list the 2010 Dodge Challenger 

As mentioned in the movie they got the next car because its fast and agile but it was just not the weapon of choice when they did the bank job, but still a very nice car its the 2010 Subaru STi

At the end of the movie we see Han acting out any male fantasies  driving on the autobahn with a beautiful girl on your lap and then in one of the most attractive cars its the 2010 Lexus LFA 

Now this when they added this baby to the roster is was truly amazed and not only did we get to see this car in the film but we saw its very rare carbon model as well, the next car on the list is the Koenigsegg CCX

The last car that i will mention wont do 0-100 in 4 seconds and you most certainly wont use this baby to drop off the kids at school, but we all wish we had one, I’m talking about the Gurkha LAPV the military truck Luke Hobbs(Dwayne Johnson) uses for all his mission

UFC - Ultimate fighting championship

Lately I have become quite the fan of this not new but brutal fight style,

UFC has been around since 1993 when it was founded by the American MMA (mixed martial arts) since then the sport has grown but a staggering rate to become the world famous and so also produce some of the best fighters the world has ever seen.

By making the the style of fighting very open to allow any type of martial arts fighter to enter the tournament and seeing athletes combine multiple form of martial art to get the best opportunity to win the fight.The fighters are all grouped in weight categories from heavy weight where anything above 93KG is considers a heavy weight to the lighter category bantam weight where the limit is 63KG.Every weight class has there own star and so on but in my opinion the main focus is on the heavy weight division as this fight is always the main event and most of the sponsor and the top paid fighters are all in the heavyweight category.

Since the sport has started it has produced a few legends in the octagon where fighters have fought round for round to be know as some of the most feared men in the ring , One of these men Ken shamrock was once quoted saying”if u can beat you on the ring I will kill you on the street” and he had the record to prove it having 28KO 15TKO  and only 2 loses he was one of the most feared men in the octagon and so was also inducted into the UFC hall of fame in 2003, Since Ken left the ring many other fighter have emerged to be known as some of the best fighter.

One of these fighters being Cain Velasquez with a very impressive record of 9-0-0 having never lost a fight in the UFC he would soon be one of the number one fighters in the UFC. Even going up to win the World heavyweight title against Brock Lesnar

So not being able to just get up and start fighting in the UFC, I started playing the Xbox game UFC Undisputed 2010 and slowly becoming more and more a fan of the sport, unfortunately UFC not being that big in South Africa , I have to visit the UFC home page  to see fight dates and the cross refinance it with ESPN on DSTV and see if the the fight would air in SA or at least highlights of the fight but so far no luck , at least I can buy the DVD’s from all the best fights and get knock outs of the year dvd at the end of every year

So my final verdict you can see UFC as a barbaric way of entertaining the masses or look a bit deeper and look at the fighters and see all the effort hard work and commitment they put into becoming the best fighters in the world.
